The mission of Bainbridge State College Testing Center is to assist BSC students and the surrounding communities in assessing their knowledge, skills, and abilities as relate to higher and continuing education by providing a wide range of testing opportunities. The BSC Testing Center strives to provide a secure and comfortable environment for students and professionals on their journey to success.

Challenge Exam – Challenge Exams are exams developed by Bainbridge State College instructors. These exams allow a student to demonstrate that he/she can meet the learning objectives of a specific course. With the successful completion of a Challenge Exam, the student will earn credit for the specific course. Challenge module is $50 with $15 proctor fee. This exam is ONE attempt only. Contact the testing center to schedule an exam.
CLEP – The College -Level Examination Program allows students to earn credit for college courses based on exams scores. The list of CLEP exams and minimum scores that are accepted by Bainbridge State College can be found in the Bainbridge State College Catalog.

ACCUPLACER is a comprehensive, integrated system of sophisticated computer-adaptive placement assessments, diagnostics, and remediation support designed to evaluate and strengthen students’ skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Delivering results immediately and accurately, ACCUPLACER helps answer the challenges of accurate placement and remediation. Multiple-choice ACCUPLACER tests are untimed, so you work at a pace that’s comfortable for you. The Write Placer test is timed 60 minutes.
Students will be tested in the following subject areas:
Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skills, and Write Placer.
You can prepare for ACCUPLACER, by taking advantage of the study tools and resources offered. Use these tools to become familiar with the types and format of ACCUPLACER test questions. They can help you identify the academic areas where you may need a little help, and prepare to improve.

ACCUPLACER Testing Fees: If taking the ACCUPLACER for anything other than being admitted into Bainbridge State College, there is a fee of $20. If retaking a section of ACCUPLACER, there is a fee of $10 per section.
Retesting Policy: One retake is allowed per section, except in Arithmetic and Elementary Algebra, students are allowed two retakes each for these two sections only.
General Education Diploma (GED)
The GED Test is a four-subject high school equivalency test that measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers. The four subject areas are science, social studies, mathematical reasoning, and reasoning through language arts.

Proctored exams require students to take an exam in a controlled location under the supervision of a proctor, who monitors students during the exam period. If the student is from another college and would like to use the BSC Testing Center as a proctor, it is the student’s responsibility to provide any required proctor forms. The coordinator of the testing center can complete the form with the necessary information and return it by fax, scan, or email.

Proctored Exam Fee: Free for currently enrolled Bainbridge State College students, $15 per proctored exam for Non-Bainbridge State College students.

Strong Interest Inventory Test
The Strong Interest Inventory Test is a powerful tool that can help people make satisfying career decisions. Whether starting out in a career, thinking about a change, or considering education options for career preparation, the wealth of information reflected in Strong Interest Inventory Test results can be a great benefit. Understanding the Strong Interest Profile can identify a career focus and begin the career planning and exploration process.
Keep in mind that the Strong Interest Inventory Test measures interests, not skills or abilities, and that the results can be used as a guide toward rewarding careers, work activities, education programs, and leisure activities.
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is used as part of the admissions process by Nursing and Allied Health schools nationwide.
The TEAS Test is $55. Payment is due at the time of the test using a debit or credit card only.
