Two-time U.S. Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey will speak on Tuesday, April 1, as the final guest of the Bainbridge State College Arts & Lecture series. Bainbridge State College recently hosted a wide variety of artists to its campus during the past two weeks. Chicago’s legendary comedy theater The Second City marked its 54th year with the touring company’s “Happily Ever Laughter” series at Bainbridge State College on Jan. 30. American poet Steve Gehrke will be the first of three Georgia Poetry Circuit speakers scheduled to visit Bainbridge State College as part of its inaugural Arts and Lecture Series.
