The Department of Public Safety welcomes you to the Bainbridge College community. The mission of the Department of Public Safety is to provide a safe and welcoming environment to enhance the well-being of students, faculty, staff and visitors, and protect all college property. The Department of Public Safety strives to achieve this mission by means of a community-friendly approach that enhances safety through the visibility of security personnel, preventive patrols, and 24-hour accessibility.
The Department of Public Safety is composed of both sworn Police Officers and Security Officers. The Department has full law enforcement jurisdiction on all college property and 500 yards beyond.
The Bainbridge College Department of Public Safety is located in the Student Services building, Bainbridge Campus. For your convenience and protection, Bainbridge College provides 24 hour, 7 days a week campus security services.
