Refund Policy -- the State Rules!

Suppose you've gone to the first week of classes AND THEN your employer transfers you. In this case, you must drop ALL of your classes. This is called "Withdrawing" from college since you are dropping all classes.

Naturally, you want your money back because you won't be able to stay in the classes. But you can get only a PORTION of your money back. Refunds after the Last Day to Drop/Add are prorated. AND, you are eligible for this prorated refund ONLY if you withdraw from ALL your classes.

Now suppose you have gone to the first week of classes and discovered that your work life, family life, and class load are just too much to handle. IT IS A WISE PERSON WHO KNOWS HIS/HER LIMITS! Unfortunately, if you drop a class now, you get NO MONEY back.
