The Department of Recreation & Wellness is excited about the opportunities to provide excellent programming for students outside of the classroom that encourage the development of the student’s overall health and wellness. The facilities, programs, and services include the following:

  • 77,000 square foot Student Wellness Center houses a fitness center, aerobics room, game room, basketball courts, track, Campus Cafe, Barnes & Noble, Student Life offices, classrooms, and student meeting space.
  • Fitness and weight loss challenges
  • Group exercise classes
  • Personal training
  • Fitness assessments
  • Intramural sports
  • Gaming tournaments
  • SWC memberships are available to staff, faculty, alumni, and community members.

All programs and activities are free to current students and information can be obtained at the SWC front desk. For group fitness classes, the schedule is posted at the SWC front desk. Scheduling fitness assessments and personal training are also available.
