Adult Learner is our term for people attending college past the traditional college-age years. Anyone over the age of 25 is technically an adult learner. Additionally, the term refers to people who are in college while also experiencing other responsibilities and time commitments of life such as raising children, working full-time, caring for aging parents and more. The Bainbridge College student population has many adult learners whose presence contributes much to our rich and diverse student body, and we value them greatly. We also recognize the special needs of adult learners and strive to provide a supportive and effective educational experience.
