Award-winning poet Andrew Hudgins will visit Bainbridge State College’s main campus on Tuesday, Feb. 4. At 4:30 p.m., Hudgins will give a craft lecture for aspiring writers. Twelve Bainbridge State College students who graduated from the Licensed Practical Nursing Program were recently recognized during a pinning ceremony held at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center on the main campus. Sabrina Anderson of Colquitt won the Academic Excellence and Most Supportive awards, and she also gave the invocation. President Carter to speak at BSC Feb. 18

Bainbridge State College will host a site review for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. Smith retires from BSC after 20 years

Eugene Smith of Bainbridge retires from Bainbridge State College on Dec. 31, 2013, after working as a grounds maintenance worker for 20 years. Smith was hired in July 1994, and he was part of the team that kept Bainbridge State’s main campus beautiful.
