Bainbridge State College runs in the family. Dr. Jim Young was a charter faculty member of the College, and his daughter, Dr. Jenny Harper is a current science professor at Bainbridge State. Bainbridge State College Chi Alpha club members hope an idea for a service project will become an annual event with the ultimate goal of bringing College students and their families closer together. Not every day can you offer middle-school students an eye-opening experience, but Nancy Trujillo says that is exactly what happened the day she brought her migrant education program students onto the campus of Bainbridge State College. BSC cosmetology students are realizing their talents – and passions

Whether experimenting with hair color or realizing their flair for doing facials or nails, several Bainbridge State College students enrolled in its cosmetology program are discovering where their aptitudes are, and more importantly, where their passions are. AT&T recently made a generous donation to Bainbridge State College’s Foundation, saying the funds are an important investment for the future of southwest Georgia.
