(Bainbridge, Ga.) – Bainbridge College cosmetology students offer their services to the general public. Beginning September 11, students will begin accepting clients. Clients may enjoy pampering services from September 11 – November 15, 2012. Students offer a variety of services, including hair, nail, skin, braid and chemical. BC swears in Spooner as new police chief

Spooner, Jr. made history Thursday August 16 as he was sworn in as the first chief of police of the newly formed Bainbridge College (BC) police department. “Today marks an important point in our continued effort to ensure that Bainbridge College remains a safe and secure environment,” said BC President Richard Carvajal. Fall into Science Fun!

Seven fifth and sixth grade students recently took part in an after-school program offered by the Georgia Youth Science and Technology Center, located on the Bainbridge College campus, experimenting with volcanoes and earthquakes. The GYSTC offers a variety of programs for young students as part of the “Fall into Science Fun!” program.

The center is housed on the Bainbridge College campus. The students took part in the center’s “Fall into Science Fun” after school program, led by Center coordinator, Dr. Paula Chambers. Bainbridge College Receives Funding Increase Designed To Strengthen College Completion

(Bainbridge, Ga.) Georgia’s fiscal year 2013 budget, which was recently passed by the General Assembly, includes over $1 million of new funding for Bainbridge College designed to help increase college completion rates. Bainbridge College to Serve Four Counties through Adult Education Grant

(Bainbridge, Ga.) Bainbridge College was recently awarded a grant to become the provider of Adult Education services in four southwest Georgia counties. The college will soon provide adult education services, such as GED prep, in Decatur, Early, Miller, and Seminole counties. The state and federally funded grant is administered through the Adult Education office of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
