Accessibility Issues

Colleges have an obligation, both legally and ethically, to provide educational opportunity for students of all kinds including those with disabilities. This applies to both online classes and traditional classes. In the classroom, students with recognized disabilities can ask for reasonable academic accommodations (i.e., extra time for exams) and receive such accommodations that are deemed appropriate according to policies. For questions about making accommodations, please contact the college provider:

Online classes should be generally accessible to those with many disabilities from the start. See our GeorgiaVIEW Accessibility pageĀ  to learn more.
