Catt, George win use of vehicles for a month

Bainbridge State College’s Director of Financial Aid Helen Catt and security officer David George each earned the use of a new vehicle for a month, thanks to a partnership with the College and Action GM. Hussongs winners in contest

Leslie and David Hussong of Cairo recently won a Bainbridge State College contest. Bainbridge State President Richard Carvajal, in the middle, congratulates them. The two students, who are husband and wife, traveled to Mount Mitchell in North Carolina, winning the highest altitude contest with the pennants promoting Bainbridge State’s new status as a four-year college. Mount Mitchell, elevation 6,684 feet, is the highest point east of the Mississippi.

BSC hosts Hands Across the Border event

More than 180 law enforcement officers from the tri-state area held a Hands Across the Border campaign at Bainbridge State College, vowing to crack down on impaired drivers and other traffic law violators during the upcoming holiday weekend. Blakely, Ga. – Nine Bainbridge State College students graduated from the Licensed Practical Nursing program and were recognized in a pinning ceremony on Aug. 1 at the Early County Center in Blakely.Regenia Jones, the chair of the LPN/Allied Health program, congratulated the first class of nursing students graduating as Bainbridge State College LPN graduates.
