Georgia Power presents BSC with rebate check for energy efficiency

Georgia Power is helping Bainbridge State College save money and energy with the company’s Commercial Energy Efficient Program. On Monday, August 25, Georgia Power presented the college with a rebate check for $3,293 for making energy efficiency improvements, which include replacing 37 lights with more efficient LED fixtures. BSC is Tobacco and Smoke-Free as of Sept. 1

By Sept. 1, Bainbridge State College will take up its ash trays and become a tobacco-free campus in accordance with the Tobacco and Smoke-Free Campus Policy passed by the Board of Regents in March of this year. The policy bans all forms of tobacco on all universities and colleges in the University System of Georgia (USG), which include cigarettes, cigars, pipes, all forms of smokeless tobacco, clove cigarettes and any smoking device, such as hookahs and electronic cigarettes. BSC will offer an EMS Professions Diploma

Bainbridge State College will offer an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Professions Diploma beginning in the fall on the main campus. Kirbo Regional Center. All the students were required to write a spontaneous essay of 600 to 700 words within a two-hour period. The students were asked to pick one of four topics to write about.
