The Early County Center became part of ABAC on January 1, 2018. Technical certificates and degrees, as well as transfer courses, are offered for the citizens of Early County and surrounding counties, including Henry and Houston Counties in Alabama, which receive in-state tuition rates if registered at the Early County Center.
The School of Arts and Sciences offers a number of courses and programs. Students may pursue studies in Sciences, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, English, General Studies, History, Mathematics, and Teacher Education. Students may also enroll in core classes for both transfer and technical studies purposes.
The School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies (HSPS) offers many options for career programs. Specialized certificates, regular certificates, and the Associate of Applied Science degree are offered at the Center, including Electronics Technology, Early Childhood Care and Education, Administrative Office Technology, and Accounting. The Early County Center responds to community needs by offering a variety of noncredit courses, programs, and other learning opportunities through the Continuing Education Division. These ungraded courses earn no academic credit. They emphasize both professional development and personal interest.
