Welcome to a special college and a special group of people. All of the faculty and staff at Bainbridge College are here to help you meet your goals.
Located on a beautiful 173 acres of lush Southwest Georgia pineland, the campus is an inviting place to begin or continue your higher education dreams. You may even find some new dreams at the college. When you begin your studies, you will quickly find a small, intimate atmosphere filled with friendly faculty and students. Small classes with up to date laboratories and computers complement classroom instruction. Because classes are concentrated in the center of the campus, you will see your many new friends often.
If your schedule is too tight to come to campus, you might sign up for classes at one of our off-campus sites, sure to be close to your home or work in Thomasville, Donalsonville, Colquitt, Cairo or Blakely.
When you have a break, visit the student center for a quick game of Ping-Pong or pool. Or, if you prefer, grab a snack and chat with friends, study in our high tech library or work in the comfort of the campus learning center. In the learning center, you will find free tutoring and computers to help you.
We are quite proud of the level of computerization on campus. We have about one computer for each 2.5 students at the college. With our advanced fiber optic network and high speed Internet connections, students are never very far from information when they need it. Many classes use the World Wide Web and the college now offers several web-based courses and many "hybrid" courses, taught both at the campus and on the World Wide Web.
For quiet moments of contemplation, you might take a walk on the nature trail boardwalk, a meandering course through several types of South Georgia vegetation. After classes are finished and you have time for some relaxation, get involved. The student activities program at the college welcomes all our students. A variety of cultural, educational and entertainment programs are planned each year. Bainbridge College is a special place where you find old friends, make new friends and develop friendships that will last a lifetime.
