Welcome to a special college and a special group of people. All of the faculty and staff at Bainbridge College are here to help you meet your education goals.
Located on a beautiful 173 acres of lush Southwest Georgia pineland, the campus is an inviting place to begin or continue your higher education dreams. You may even find some new dreams at Bainbridge College. When you begin your studies, you will find a comfortable, intimate atmosphere filled with friendly faculty and students. Small class size with up to date laboratories and computers complement classroom instruction. If your schedule is too tight to come to campus, you can sign up for classes at one of our off-campus sites, sure to be close to your home or work in Thomasville, Donalsonville, Colquitt, Cairo or Blakely.
When you have a break, visit the Student Center for a quick game of Ping-Pong or pool. Or, if you prefer, grab a snack and chat with friends! You are invited to study in our high tech Library where you will find knowledgeable staff that is always willing to assist you with finding research materials and locating items in the collection of books and periodicals. They also will help you get books through interlibrary loan. In the Academic Resource Center, you will find free tutoring from peer tutors and access to computers and other resources to help you reach your academic goals.
We are quite proud of the level of technology on campus. Computers are readily available to all students and we have approximately one computer for every 2 students at the college. Our advanced fiber optic network and high speed Internet connection provides accessibility so that students are never far from information when they need it. Many classes use the World Wide Web and the college now offers a wide variety of web-based courses and many "hybrid" courses, taught both at the campus and on the World Wide Web.
For quiet moments of contemplation, you might take a walk on the nature trail boardwalk, a meandering course through beautiful South Georgia vegetation. After classes are finished and you have time for some relaxation, get involved. The student activities program at the college welcomes all our students. A variety of cultural, educational and entertainment programs are planned each year.
