Welcome to the School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies. Today’s work environment is very challenging for students and we strive to help our students gain the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in their career path. We offer 60 degree, diploma and Technical Certificates of Credit programs.

Mission Statement for the School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies (HSPS)
The Bainbridge State College School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies provides quality nursing, health sciences, technical, professional and educational opportunities which prepare students for success in the community and create a more educated workforce.
HSPS houses the disciplines of Nursing, Allied Health, and Technical programs. HSPS offers 60 programs that prepare students to enter the work force or gain needed job skills and knowledge as they progress in or change careers. HSPS programs result in students earning an Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science Degrees, Diplomas, or Technical Certificates of Credit. Emphasis is placed on Work Ethics which are an important component of workplace success in most of our programs.
HSPS faculty are experienced professionals with outstanding academic credentials. They bring real world experience into the classroom.
Course Delivery Modes
Course are offered in several formats to help students meet their needs: traditional in-class (meet two days a week on campus), hybrid (combination of traditional and web based; meet one day a week on campus and complete assignments using web technology), and complete web based courses. Traditional and hybrid course are offered Monday through Thursday during mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
HSPS administration is comprised of a Dean of HSPS, Chair of A.D.N. program, and Chair of P.N. and Allied Health Programs.
