2010 Spring Semester

Nov. 2 – Jan. 5

Open registration – all students.  New students should make an appointment with the Academic Success Center for advising and registration.  Returning students should schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor for advising and registration.

Nov. 30

New Student Orientation for main campus – 9am at Kirbo Center

Dec. 4

New Student Orientation for Early County Center – 9 am at Early County Center

First day of classes for Regular and A terms.

Drop/Add/Registration
Important Reminder to Financial Aid Recipients: Financial aid awards are based on hours enrolled in ALL parts of term as of 5pm Jan. 12, 2010.  Courses added after this date, regardless of the course start date, will not increase the award.

Jan. 18

M.L. King Jr. Holiday – College offices closed.  Classes will be held Saturday, Jan. 16.

Feb. 1

Mid-Term for A Term
Last day to drop A Term classes with no academic penalty.

Feb. 5

Furlough half day – The college will close at noon for furlough.

Feb. 25

Last day of class for A term

Feb. 26

Final Exams for A Term
Last day of registration for B Term
Mid-Term for Regular Term – Last day to drop regular term classes with no academic penalty.

March 1-6

Spring Break for students.  College offices close March 4 for furlough day.  College offices closed March 5 for spring holiday.

Last day to drop B Term classes with no academic penalty.

April 1

Financial Aid Priority Deadline for Summer/Fall 2010.  All students must have applied for aid by this date to guarantee that their aid will be ready by the first day of class.

The college will be closed Fridays for the duration of the summer.  The college will resume a traditional five day week on August 2nd.
