Bainbridge State College’s School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies is pleased to announce the pinning of nine Practical Nursing (PN) graduates.
On Monday, Dec. 12, the Practical Nursing Pinning Ceremony was held at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center. The graduating class included, Jocelyn Beard, Briona Bracken, Latoya Carr, Jennifer Gibson, Qweunda Lester, Keishannte Mobley, Breana Stinson, Omar Tejada and Ashley Varnum.
Special awards were presented to Jennifer Gibson, Highest GPA Award; Briona Bracken, Rose-Bud Award; Teamwork Award, Keishannte Mobley; Jocelyn Beard, the Most Supportive Award.
Jason Rubenbauer, the Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies (HSPS), congratulated the graduates on a job well done and wished them the best for their futures. He is confidents these new practical nurses will give the best care to their future patients.
“It is always very rewarding to see a student reach the successful end of their educational journey, prepared to start a career caring for others,” Rubenbauer said. “This group of students has grown from select individuals into a family of sisters and brothers who will be diligently caring for those who are sick or injured. We are pleased to have this group of caring professionals pinned to serve our community as they have been trained to do by our highly skilled team of experts.”
