Bainbridge State College’s 4th Annual Carter Arts and Lecture Series is pleased to announce a free performance by the Albany Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. A ticket is not required for entry. Doors open at 1 p.m., at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Albany Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will be performing their “Salute to America,” with a tribute to Veterans of the Armed Forces.
The Albany Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is a fully-professional orchestra celebrating its 53rd year of providing live symphonic music and serving the South Georgia region. Each season the orchestra performs a series of classical concerts, educational concerts in partnership with Carnegie Hall’s Link Up program, chamber music performances, and special community engagement concerts.
Under the leadership of Music Director Claire Fox Hillard, the ASO has established itself as an outstanding ensemble through innovative programming, unique collaborations, and partnership which engage many diverse segments of the community. The orchestra has been recognized on three occasions with an ASCAP award for innovative programming by the League of American Orchestras.
