During the week of April 19-20, Bainbridge State College student, Kenneth Brock, and instructor, Charles White, represented BSC in the state Georgia Occupational Award Leadership (GOAL) – Rick Perkins event in Atlanta as part of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).

Brock was one of the 23 GOAL students at the state competition, out of approximately 144,000 enrolled at TCSG schools. He represented .02% of TCSG students. Currently, there are over 3,000 faculty and White represented less than 1% of TCSG faculty members.

Kenneth Brock of Whigham is an Electronics major. He is the 2016 BSC Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) Winner. Owen Elkins, Instructor of Electronics, was his nominating instructor.

Charles White is an Assistant Professor of Allied Health. He is the 2016 BSC Rick Perkins Award (RPA) winner.
