Nursing combines the art of caring with the science of health care for one of the most in-demand, high-growth career opportunities available.

The Bainbridge State College Associate of Science Degree in Nursing Program welcomes your interest in the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) advance placement track and invites applications from all qualified individuals.

This is a three-semester program, aimed at persons holding a certified, unrestricted LPN license interested in advancing their career, which begins annually in the summer semester with completion at the end of spring semester the following year.

The program qualifies graduates to apply to sit the Board of Nursing’s national licensure examination NCLEX RN exam to become a Registered Nurse. The curriculum plan of the LPN – RN track recognizes the licensed practical nurses’ education and experience as a foundation and provides academic and clinical experiences for Associate Degree nursing education. The program is both challenging and rewarding, and it is important for the applicant to recognize that the advanced placement track requires time and dedication to succeed.

Please complete the admission application packet and return to Ms. Ruby Barlow, Nursing Division Program Assistant, P.O. Box 990, Bainbridge, GA 39819-0990, with a postmark date of no later than May 5, 2014.
